Lip care

Heloo everyone!

I've been having trouble recently trying to find the best product for lip care and thought why not write on here about it and ask you all for advice?!

So I've tried the basic products:

Vaseline is probably the most common type along with the different flavours and aloe vera one etc, but my lips still seem to be peeling whenever I use this. They don't so much crack, and they're not dry, they just seem to peel.

I have also recently purchased Boot's lip balms (tinted & strawberry) ..(there was an offer on so why not try both)


These still don't seem to stop the peeling, it also doesn't help that they're a stick so moving it across the lips probably causes it to peel more. 

Please leave me any advice on your favourite lip care products. I have heard about Carmex and Burt's Bee's products so please let me know if they're worth it!!

    I use the korres lip butters, they are so amazing and they always get rid out my chapped lips xo

    Carmex is my absolute favourite! I find that the one that comes in a tube works better and is more moisturizing on my lips than the one that comes in a tub.

    I've tried Nivea, Vaseline and the Boots one you mentioned, but my favorite is actually the original Chapstick in Cherry. It's a little over a pound at Boots and I love it. It does come in a stick, but it works really well for me. Hope this helps!

    i've used vasline for years and years and i love it :) sometimes my lips do peel when using it but other products dont moisturise as well as vaseline :)

    I find vaseline dries your skin out from the petroleum. Have you ever noticed if you don't have it in your pocket all day at hand your lips get dry? Its not moisturising its just lubricating haha! I may do a post about this...
    You should definitely try Savonnerie London lip care. Its completley natural so no chemicals to dry you out. Plus its very nourishing. Google them! :)

    I like Superdrugs version of Vasaline. It really helps with my sore lips in the winter, but for stick ones I love my eyeko fat balm and burts bees ones, so soft and smell yummy!

    vaseline is awful in my opinion, it dries your lips out more! i find the nuxe lipbalm, maybelline babylips, korres lip butters and kiehls lipbalm in the tube are all amazing!

    I find Vaseline dries my lips out more :( carmex is my ultimate lip balm tho!try it in cherry ahha you'll love it too!x
